The scooter features a new dynamic bodywork, a lightweight chassis, and a 400cc engine. There's space for two full-face helmets under the seat, making the X-MAX 400 practical and stylish. And with dual floating front disc brakes, LED lights front and rear, and high-tech instruments, this should be a beautiful scooter.

The 395 c.c. liquid cooled engine delivers 31.5 bhp @ 7,500 rpm and 3.45 kgm @ 6,000 rpm (25 ft lbs@ 6000 rpm) of torque. The suspension travel is the same with the X-MAX 250 at the front while it is increased at the rear. However the rear wheel is 13 inches compared with the 14 inches of the X-MAX 250. The nominal weight is 211 kg wet which is about 30 kg more than the X-MAX 250. An ABS version will follow after the base variant.
