How much do the motoGP riders get.

This is the first year that from the year 2000 onwards, that Valentino Rossi is not the most well-paid motoGP rider! Jorge Lorenzo is the first rider of the list, since the “Doctor” agreed to return to Yamaha with less money than his teammate and 2012 World Champion. Except from the money by Yamaha, Lorenzo got some decent sponsorships from HJC helmets, Monster, Sector watches and Alpinestars, which makes a sum of ¤10 m.
Rossi 2nd, gaining ¤8 m., by Yamaha, Monster, AGV & Dainese. However taking also his VR46 company into account, his income could match the sum of Lorenzo!
Dani Pedrosa is 3rd, with some ¤6 m which comes mostly from Honda and then Repsol, Arai, Alpinestars.
Andrea Dovizioso Ducati, earning ¤2 m. from Ducati and ¤1 m. more from Airoh & Spidi.
Nicky Hayden follows with ¤1.5 m. which derives mostly from Ducati and then by Oakley, Arai, Dainese.
The newcomer Marc Marquez earns about the same with the American, at ¤1.5 m. by Honda, Repsol, Shoei, Alpinestars. Certainly, next year the Rookie Marc will be higher on this rank and probably the same will be with Rossi, after the races that he is expected to challenge.
Iannone, Crutchlow & Espargaro follow, while there are some riders with no income at all, which is ordinary in the last years due to the international economic crisis.
