The Kubo is an electric scooter which according to the manufacturer is a two wheel electric pickup truck. Certainly there is a huge space formed right at the center of the scooter, adequate to accommodate large objects.
Actually due the position of the storage space and the low floor, the stability of the scooter should not be influenced by cargo. There is no pillion seat although the height of the rider's seat is adjustable.

The Lit company, which had impressed the motorcycle world by unveiling a self balancing electric scooter one year ago, has put the Kubo in Kickstarter to see if there is adequate interest to produce the scooter.

The performance figures of the Kubo are: electric motor power 3 KW, top speed 72 km/h (45 mph), range 80 km (50 mi), and the maximum weight (rider and cargo) is 136 kg (300 lbs) which define a light urban scooter. There are tie-down hooks so that a net can be attached if small objects like parcels are to be carried. The company seeks $300000 in Kickstarter. So far there are $33,072 pledged from 103 backers and there are 24 days remaining.
