2013/3/30.  Suzuki Motor Corporation will introduce the GW250S (Inazuma S) at the 15th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition which will be held from 20 April, 2013.

The GW250S, is an additional spec bike of the on-road motorcycle GW250, (Inazuma) which is being produced by SuzukiĘs joint venture in China, Changzhou Haojue Suzuki Motorcycle Co., LTD., and distributed in Europe, USA, Japan, China etc. By equipping a half-fairing, Suzuki claims that it gives a sportier image while increasing wind protection such as when riding on highways.

2012/11/6.      An Inazuma variant featuring a half fairing has been seen on the Internet. Its difficult to judge the actual styling by looking at one photo.

2012/11/4.     ‘he Inazuma is a frugal twin cylinder 250 c.c. bike, featuring fuel injection (EFI) and disc brakes front and rear.

Concerning the price, its lower than the CBR250R and much lower than Kawasaki Ninja 250, in every country that has been announced. Thus wherever it has not been defined so far, it should be very close to that of Sym SB 250 Ni Wolf (‘2). This should be expected as the Inazuma is manufactured in China.

Performance data is 26 bhp/ 8,500 rpm, 2.5 kgm/ 7,000 rpm torque, while fuel consumption is 3.5 l/100km, (80 mpg Imperial), claimed figures. Two systems involved provide improved engine management. Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) in control of engine response and fuel combustion efficiency, while the Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) is a servo-controlled butterfly enhancing low and mid rpm spectrum provided torque. The weight is increased, 180 kg (397 lbs) nominal kerb.
